We all have a story about forgiveness. As complex individuals, we experience a spectrum of emotions and this one can determine if you can finally sit in your peace once and for all or just keep marinating in pain. Forgiveness is not required nor expected in the real world. People hurt us and if we are lucky, that person will do what is necessary to make amends. On the other hand the slippery slope of being able to ask for forgiveness from those that we have wronged; is rarely assessed until its too late. I can recall the times I thought forgiving a person seemed impossible. I am glad I was wrong about that one.

So to assume that a higher power needs me to practice forgiveness to be forgiven is kinda of implied. But as we all know, few individuals follow that premise at all.
